このブログについて

中高年になり、期せずして人生の大きな転換期を迎えることになった。で、何をしようかと考えたが、もともと行き当たりばったりの人生の連続。このままでは目で見たものが、ただ単に通り過ぎてしまうだけと気がつき、出会った事柄をとりあえず残してみようと思い、このブログを始めました。とりとめのない内容なので、途中何回も内容修正はあるかもしれませんが、そこのところはご容赦願います！！

３月は「グレース・ケリー」 ― 2012/03/04 09:23

スクリーンの付録カレンダー３月のスターは「グレース・ケリー」です。
昔の映画雑誌では、女優からモナコ公妃になった方なので、夢のようなサクセス・ストーリーの、何か映画の世界をそのままいくような扱いだった。まぁ、実際我々から見れば、本当にサクセス・ストーリーではあるけど。
僕にとって、グレース・ケリーの映画で印象が強いのは、やはりヒッチコックの「裏窓」だ。カメラマン役のジェームス・スチュアートの恋人役で出演していた。異国の女優とはいえ、東洋の片隅で生きている僕にさえも、その気品や色気というものが伝わってきたことを覚えている。
多分男にとっては理想的な女性像を演じていたのだろう。それが出来たというのも、作品に恵まれたのだろうなぁ。
「美人薄命」というが、不幸なことに交通事故により、５２歳の若さで亡くなった。こういう年齢で亡くなると、永遠に５２歳のままの状態で時間が止まってしまうことになり、この女優は何か永遠に老けない魔法の呪文にかかったような気がする。
